Article Submission Policy
How CADRE reviews, edits, and publishes community articles.
Institutional Identity
In this policy, CADRE refers to the website, publishing desk, and institutional services operated under the CADRE name.
Submission Route
Authors may send article drafts to CADRE by email. Public self-publishing is not enabled.
Review
CADRE reviews submissions for relevance, contextual accuracy, evidence quality, methods, limitations, attribution, originality, ethical tone, practical value, and risk of harm. Review depth is proportionate to the publication type and the significance of its claims. CADRE does not describe a publication as peer reviewed unless an independent and documented peer-review process occurred.
Editing
CADRE may suggest edits, format articles for the website, assign categories, and decline submissions that do not fit the platform.
Author Responsibility
Authors are responsible for permissions, citations, originality, data confidentiality, conflicts of interest, responsible representation of participants, and avoiding plagiarism or harmful claims. Material use of generative AI in research, analysis, translation, or drafting must be disclosed to the editor; authors remain responsible for every claim.
Rights and Reuse
Each publication states its rights or licence. No open licence should be assumed when none is displayed. Third-party figures, images, datasets, and excerpts remain subject to their own rights and permissions.
Corrections, Updates, and Retractions
Material corrections are identified on the publication record. CADRE may issue a revised version, correction notice, or retraction when accuracy, integrity, safety, rights, or ethical concerns require it. The public record should preserve enough information for readers to understand what changed.
Accessibility and Language
CADRE aims to provide readable web editions, descriptive media, clear structure, and accessible files where feasible. Translations should identify the source version and review status.
Publication
Published work is part of CADRE Insights and receives a stable public record, publication date, version information, suggested citation, and relevant SDG contribution fields where appropriate.
